TriceraTOTs
Our popular pre-K and Kindergarten in-person program is offered monthly on the second Friday and Saturday of the month.
For the foreseeable future, this program will be moved to our Main Visitor Center location (16831 W Alameda Parkway) to accommodate for the renovation of the Discovery Center building and new exhibits.
Pricing is $5 for participating children. Accompanying children under 2 years are free if they won't be participating in the craft. No charge for adults.
2026 SCHEDULE
Puffing Up Dinosaurs!
Friday February 13
Saturday February 14
Some dinosaurs, meat-eating ones especially, had feathers – and some lived in the top and bottom of the world where there would be snow! They used these feathers to keep warm, so we’re going to create a warm and cozy winter dinosaur with feathers, pom poms, and cotton balls!
Sticky Sap!
Friday March 13
Saturday March 14
Amber is fossilized tree sap! Before it fossilized, sometimes bugs would get stuck in the sap before it got hard, and inside the amber is a perfect fossil of an insect. Today, we’ll be making our own sap to stick bugs in!
(Come dressed to potentially get messy)
We are starting a new online registration system for the sessions from April through December, so registration for those will come soon! Questions? Erin.LaCount@dinoridge.org
